2010-11: Played in 29 games and started 28...averaged 12.1 points per game...scored a career high 23 points against Grand Canyon University on 11/20/10 and Wayne State on 1/28/11...made a career high seven three-point baskets on 11/19/10...scored in double figures 18 times...ranked third in scoring for the Huskies and is the top returning scorer in 2011-12...83.2 percent free throw shooter and .423 percent from beyond the arc....has played in 95 career games and score 971 career points...ranks seventh on the all-time three-point baskets made list with 183...ranks in the top 20 in steals with 95.

2009-10: The three-point specialist for the Huskies in 2009-10…35 games played...17 games started...was one of three players with a double-digit scoring average (10.0)…played in 867 minutes of action…made a team-high 72 three-pointers (11th most in a single season)...averaged 2.1 made three-point shots per game…shot 41 percent from beyond the arc (72-of-174) and 41 percent from the field (114-of-277)…finished third on the team with 37 steals...fourth on the squad with 55 assists…averaged 2.1 rebounds a game…made over 80 percent of free throws (49-for-61)…scored a career-high 22 points against UMC vs.12/12/09...tied career high with five assists and recorded four steals vs. WSU 12/04/09...shot .775 percent from the three-point line and made a career high six three pointers vs. Cardinal Stritch, Dec. 17, while grabbing  four rebounds...recorded first block of the season and scored 19 points vs. USF, Dec. 29...recorded a career-high five steals vs. BSU, Jan. 9...tied a career-high with seven rebounds vs. SMSU, Ja. 15...scored a game-high 19 points in a 68-58 win over No. 17 Augustana, Jan 30...scored 13 points in 36 minutes off the bench against Minnesota State, March 14...was 4-for-6 from beyond the arc in the Central Region Championship vs. Augustana, March 16.

2008-09: First year…played in all 31 games, starting in 18…one of six players to appear in every game…started first career game on Jan. 10, and remained a starter for the rest of the season…Huskies fourth leading scorer at 8.8 points per game…one of four players to score over 200 points (272)…only the second first year player since 2000-01 to score over 200 points (Schneck 2006-07)…led team at the free throw line for a majority of the season, finishing Putzsecond at .842 (48-of-57)…second among regulars from three point range at .390 (48-of-123)…48 three-pointers made was second on the team and 123 attempts was third…shot .421 (88-of-209) from the field…grabbed 2.0 rebounds per game…tallied 53 assists (1.7 apg), 22 steals (0.7 spg), and two blocks (0.1 bpg)…assist mark was third on the team…in conference games only ranked 13th in the NSIC in three-pointers made (1.60 3pg)…in all games ranked 14th in the NSIC in three-pointers made (1.55 3pg)…began the season playing 10 minutes in the opener on Nov. 15 and tallied first career assist and steal finishing with three and one respectively…on Nov. 22 tallied first career point and rebound, finishing with nine and three respectively…finished the season scoring in 24 consecutive games…played 35 minutes and scored 16 points in first career start…played a career high 36 minutes on Jan. 24…scored a career high 20 points on Mar. 4 in the NSIC Tournament opening win … also saw his scoring average rise to a season high 9.1 ppg. after 20-point performance…led Huskies in scoring three times…pulled down career high seven rebounds on Jan. 23…dished out a career high five assists on Mar. 7.

High School: 2008 graduate of Forest City High School where he was coached by Dan Rosacker…won four letters on the basketball court for FCHS…earned All-Conference honors four times and was twice a first-team All-State selection…holds school scoring records for a game, season and career and once poured in 50 in a game…also holds school records for three-pointers made and attempted and for free throws made in a game…grabbed four letters on the gridiron as well where he was a two-time All-State wide receiver…also twice name All-District…school record holder for career yards and single season reception yards.

Personal: Son of Steve and Sheryl Putz of Forest City…lists his father as the person with the greatest influence on his career…says making it to state his senior season and scoring 50 points in a game are his greatest sports thrills...recreation and sports management major and athletic coaching minor.
