2011-12: Played in 27 games...190 total minutes played...94 total points scored...averaged 3.5 points a game...recorded 11 steals and 17 assists...grabbed 17 total rebounds...scored 10 points and had three rebounds in SCSU debut, while shooting 2-for-3 from beyond the arc against USF (11/13/11)...scored 12 points vs. Augustana (01/02/12)... was 6-for-8 from the field and scored a career-high 14 points vs. Winona State (01/08/12)...posted two steals vs. Minnesota Duluth (01/14/12)... posted a career-high four assists vs. Northern State (02/17/12)...had a career-high three steals against Concordia-St. Paul (02/25/12).

2010-11: Sat out transfer year

Rock Valley Community College: Earned two letters with the Golden Eagles in 2008 and 2009...was named Most Improved Player on his team after his second season.

Prior to SCSU: A 2007 graduate of East High School in Rockford, Ill., where he played under coach Roy Sackmaster...was a four-time letter winner in basketball, football and track in field...earned all-conference first team honors in all three sports...led his area in receiving yards and participated in the state track and field meet in the triple jump and the 4 x 100.

Personal: Born July 11, 1989...son of Janice Nicholls of Rockford, Ill...names his mother as the person with the greatest influence on his career...sports medicine major, coaching minor.
