2009-10: Played a significant role in the post for the SCSU in 2009-10…made an appearance in 34 games...six games started...played 430 minutes…shot a team-high 63.6 percent from the field (35-of-55)…averaged 3.1 points a game and scored 104 on the season…made 34-of-49 shots from the charity stripe…grabbed 100 rebounds to average 2.9 per contest…had 16 steals and two blocks defensively…dished out 11 assists…scored first collegiate point against St. John’s Nov. 20...recorded a career-high four steals vs. Judson University, Dec. 16...recorded first career block and scored four points vs. the University of Sioux Falls, Dec. 29...recorded a career-high eight points and grabbed four rebounds vs. Minnesota Duluth, Jan. 8...grabbed five rebounds vs. Southwest Minnesota State, Jan. 15 and then grabbed six the next night vs. Minnesota State, Jan. 16...made first career start vs. Northern State, Jan. 23...scored 12 points and grabbed a career-high nine rebounds vs. Bemidji State, Feb. 6...scored a career-high 14 points and was 8-for-9 from the free throw line vs. Minnesota, Crookston, Feb. 20...recorded a career-high two assists vs. Concordoa, St. Paul, Feb. 24...grabbed six rebounds in 21 minutes vs. Minnesota State, March 14 in the second round of the NCAA Central Region Tournament.

High School: 2009 graduate of Apollo High School…coached by Dean Kesler…gained six total letters in high school in basketball, football and track & field…an All-Area and All-Conference player as a senior.

Personal: Son of Clebby Bergstraser of Sauk Rapids, Minn. and Kelly Hessler of St. Cloud…lists his coaches as the people with the greatest influence on his athletic career…lists participating in sectionals at St. Cloud State as his greatest sports thrill…majoring in sports managment and recreation at St. Cloud.
