2008-09: Junior season … played in 28 games with one start … started first career game on Dec. 30 … played 308 minutes for an average of 11.0 minutes per game … NSIC Champion in three-point percentage in all games with a mark of .508 and in conference games only with a .563 tally … had a career season posting new career highs in minutes, points, rebounds, assists, field goals made and attempted, field goal percentage, three-pointers made and attempted, three-point percentage, and free throws made and attempted … scored 5.2 points per game … finished season with 25 rebounds (0.9 rpg), 17 assists (0.6 apg), 14 steals (0.5 spg) and two blocks (0.1 bpg) … led all regulars at the free throw line with an .844 (27-of-32) tally … fourth on the team in field goal percentage at .489 (44-of-90) … twice nailed a career high five three-pointers including on Feb. 28 in the regular season finale on his way to a career high 21 points … career three-point percentage of .449 (48-of-107-) is third all-time at SCSU among players with 100 or more attempts … also on Feb. 28, posted a SCSU season high 8-of-8 mark at the free throw line … one of just 14 players in the NSIC to go 8-of-8 or better at the line in a game … scored 20+ twice on the year and in double figures six times … led Huskies in scoring twice on the season … led team in assists once, with a career high three on Jan. 9 … grabbed a career high four rebounds on Jan. 16 … one of two Huskies to play in each of the last two conference championship games (Coenen) … averaged 10.3 ppg during the Huskies six game win streak late in the season … went 8-of-11 from the field for 21 points on Feb. 21 posting career highs for shots made and attempted.

2007-08: Sophomore season...appeared in 21 games and played 9.1 minutes/game...stat line included 3.2 points/game, 0.8 rebounds/game, 15 assists, 16 steals, while shooting .480 (24-50) from the field and .469 (15-32) from three-point range...scored career high 11 points on 11/23 in 89-68 win over Montana State-Billings off of 4-6 shooting and 3-4 three-point shooting, and followed it with another double-digit effort scoring 10 points on 11/24 in 52-50 win over Colorado State-Pueblo...also grabbed a career high three rebounds in each game...three-point mark of .469 was second best on the team...played a season high 31 minutes  on 11/27 in 80-74 win over MSU Moorhead...five times sank two or more three-pointers in a game.

2006-07: Redshirt due to injury.

2005-06: Bartz saw limited playing time in the backcourt, appearing in 15 games..scored a season and career high six points against CSU-Pueblo on Dec. 29...had season highs of three rebounds and three assists.

High School: 2005 graduate of Hinckley-Finlayson High School...a three-sport athlete, Bartz competed in cross country, basketball and track and field...won five letters and was team captain in track...won two letters and was voted Rookie of the Year in cross country...won four letters in basketball...three-time All-Conference pick and two-year team captain in basketball...averaged 23 points a game as a senior...second all-time in school scoring with 1,06 career points...holds school record for most games started (103) and consecutive games in double figure scoring (52)...ranks fourth all-time in Minnesota basketball single season history with 113 three-point baskets.

Personal: Born on November 5, 1986...son of JoEllen Bartz and Alan Bartz of Hinckley...A-Honor Roll student...MBCA All-Academic Team member....art education major.
