The Jennifer Dowd File

2009-10: Dowd played in 25 games and made one start in her first season with the Huskies...she averaged 16.1 minutes of playing time per game...her lone start came on Nov. 21, 2009 against Grand View College...Dowd scored a season high eight points twice during the season, against Upper Iowa on Dec. 5, 2009 and Bemidji State on Jan. 9, 2010...dished out a season high four assists three times during the season.

High School: 2009 graduate of Rogers High School…coached by Lamar  Detert and Jeremy Digiovani…earned six letters on the hardwood for the Royals…earned All-State, All-Section, All-Conference and All-State Tournament team honors…team MVP…Royals Basketball Award…Athena Award…All-American nominee…scored over 1,000 career points and is the school record holder in assists.

Personal: Daughter of Scott and Lisa Dowd…lists her brother Dominic as the person with the greatest influence on her career…favorite sports personality is Dick Vitale and John Stockton…greatest sports thrill was beating rival school and going to the state tournament…sports medicine major and communications minor at St. Cloud State.
