2006-07: Dreas was named to the 2007 All-North Central Conference Men’s Basketball team for the second straight year...named to the 2007 Daktronics All-North Central Region second team... a two-year starter for the Huskies, he scored in double figures a team high 25 times this season...scored a season high 31 points against MSU, Mankato on Mar. 3 in Mankato... led the team in scoring, averaging 19.0 ppg....scored 30 or more points three times...scored his 1,000th career point in SCSU’s game against Northern Michigan on Dec. 31...currently has 1,305 career points, which ranks him 17th all-time...currently ranks in SCSU’s career charts in assists (308) and steals (132), three-point field goals made (177), free throws made (274), best points per game average (14.5), and free-throw percentage (.859)...second straight season he has led the Huskies in scoring.
2005-06: Dreas was named to the 2006 All-North Central Conference Team, Daktronics, Inc., NCAA DII North Central Region Team, Wells Fargo Finals All-Tournament team, Academic All-NCC team, and NCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll...led the Huskies in scoring with 18.4 points per game and set the SCSU sophomore record for points scored with 570 during the season, surpassing the Dan Hagen mark of 547 set in 1978-79...tallied a career high seven three-point baskets against Minnesota State in the championship game of the Wells Fargo Finals...led the NCC in league scoring (NCC games)...started all 31 games and scored in double figures in 18 straight games and 28 overall...ranked among the top ten in NCAA DII free throw shooting percentage all season and finished the year at 88.3 percent...he has scored 735 career points and has moved into the top 20 in all-time assists with 204 (17th)...currently ranks first on the SCSU career free throw percentage chart at .876 (163-186)...recorded a career high ten assists against Glenville State on Nov. 19 of this season and his career high 36 points in scoring came on Jan. 26...was named the NCC Player of the Week on Jan. 9 and 30... named to the five-player SCSU American Family Insurance Hoopster All-Classic Team...recorded a school record 50 consecutive free throws made from December of 2004 to November 2005.
2004-05: Played in every Husky game during the season and made four starts...averaged 18.3 minutes a game and 5.7 points...was second on the team in assists with 77 and steals with 29...made a steal late in the Huskies win over UMD and calmly made two free throws with :03 left to give the Huskies the winning margin in the quarterfinal game of the Wells Fargo Finals on March 1...was named the North Central Conference Player of the Week on Feb. 21...the honor came after a career outing against Augustana College on Feb. 17 when Dreas scored a career high 24 points on eight of 17 shooting, made four three-point baskets, went four-of-four at the free throw line, and had six rebounds.
High School: 2004 graduate of Winona High School...lettered three times in basketball... Winona High School all-time leading scorer...holds season and career record for steals...two-time All-Conference...All-Area Player of the Year...All-State Honorable Mention.
Personal: Born on Feb. 1, 1986...son of Laura and Tom Dreas of Winona...All-State Academic in high school...marketing major.
