BASEBALL: Red-Black World Series Completed

Here is the report from the final game of the Red-Black World Series, which was held at Apollo High School on Oct. 9...before the snow hit!
After Team Red completed game four with a 8-4 win (it was 5-4 when the game was suspended the day before in the 6th inning), Team Black came back to win the deciding game five with an 8-1 victory.
Freshmen Scott Lieser earned the win in game four throwing two shutout innings. Big hits by Joey Benke, 2 run-RBI double and a homerun by Keaton Gustin extended the lead for Team Red and was all Lieser needed for the victory.
Lieser started game five and threw two shutout innings. Team Red exploded for five runs in the top of the 3rd inning and continued to build on their lead the following innings.
Freshmen LHP Shawn Reisgraf started on the mound and earned the win throwing four innings. Senior David Deminsky came in for the final inning to close out the series victory.
