BASEBALL: Team Red Takes Game Three of Fall World Series

Here is an update for the annual St. Cloud State baseball team's Red-Black World Series, which is taking place this month at locations in the St. Cloud area. Game Five of the World Series will take place at 3 p.m. on Oct. 9, at Apollo High School's baseball field in St. Cloud.
After spotting Team Black a two run lead the SCSU Red team came back to score two runs in the last two innings to tie the score and then one more in extra innings to take a 2-1 lead in the Huskies Fall World Series. The winning runs scored on Zac Sather's sacrifice fly scoring Keaton Gusting
The Black team did load the bases in the bottom of the 9th but Nick Anderson struck out the final batter to secure the win.
After a short break, game #4 was begun at Joe Faber Field, Home of the Huskies. Team Black jumped out to a run lead that was cut to a 3-1 lead after one inning. After five complete innings Team Black leads game four 5-4.
