BASEBALL: Dolan and Schreiner Help Make Twins Alumni Game a Success

St. Cloud State University baseball coach Pat Dolan served as a coach during the recent St. Cloud River Bats/Minnesota Twins alumni game at Joe Faber Field on August 21, which featured former Minnesota Twins players and local celebrities such as Scott Schreiner. The game featured appearances by many former Minnesota Twins players, including the legendary Tony Oliva. Dolan and Olivia both served as celebrity coaches for the event.
For the second consecutive year this event will be held in conjunction with a fundraiser for the Central Minnesota Miracle League project, which is currently raising funds for the construction of a baseball field to be built for children with special needs.
Here is a list of players and coaches who participated in this fun evetnt: Bob Randall, Corey Koskie, Shane Gunderson, Terry Steinbach, Erik Maas, Keith Kremer, Scott Schreiner, Jim Lundeen, Rick Lysander , Kurt Schlangen, Kyle Collins, Geoff Zahn, Gary Serum, Jason King, Dave Goltz, Mark Bauer, Pat Dolan, Tony Oliva, Steve Lombardozzi, Bill Theis, Al Newman, Tom Quinlan, Jarvis Brown, Chad Hess, Brian Raabe, JJ Holiday, Pat Rausch, Cory Hollenhorst, John Nemec, Juan Berenguer, Dick Stigman, Greg Thayer, Jason Schlangen, Adam Dammann.
Dolan will begin his third season as head coach of the St. Cloud State University baseball team in 2010.
