BASEBALL: SCSU Baseball Team to Hold Tryouts on Sept. 2
Thursday, August 20, 2009
St. Cloud State University's head baseball coach Pat Dolan has announced that the Husky baseball program will be holding individual tryouts on Wednesday, September 2. For those who are interested in trying out for Husky baseball, please have the following things completed before attending the tryout session on September 2nd:
1. Walk-on information form completed and returned (call Baseball office to obtain form)
2. A signed physical from a physician less than a year old.
3. Complete and correct fall class schedule with a minimum of 12 credits.
All items must be turned in on or before the tryout session to be held on September 2. If you have any questions, contact assistant coach Adam Kampsen at kaad0801@stcloudstate.edu
"We are very excited to see the great number of student athletes that will be trying out for the team. There seems to always be one diamond in the rough. We do want to let all of the players trying out know that roster spots are very limited. With the nucleus of our team returning and 17 new signed student athletes and close to 100 others contacting us about trying out, it really shows the excitement that is being generated by the program. Roster spots will be very competitive," said SCSU head coach Pat Dolan.
You can also call the baseball office at 320-308-3541 for more details.
