Welcome Back Alumni
St. Cloud State University has enjoyed a rich and storied history in the sport of baseball. SCSU's baseball alumni have helped build a solid foundation for success in the Granite City, and the Huskies look for continued excellence as they open another chapter of the SCSU baseball story in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference in 2009.
The Huskies and Coach Dolan would like to keep in touch with former SCSU baseball players, and provide them with current information and updates about the program here at St. Cloud State. Dear Husky Alum,
Greetings from your St. Cloud State University Husky baseball program!
It is truly an honor to follow in the great footsteps of Coach Lorsung, Coach Stanek, Coach Kasper and Coach Brainard. We are the only five full-time baseball coaches in the great tradition of Husky Baseball
I am very excited about the opportunity and challenges that lie ahead for our Husky baseball program and myself. Many positives have taken place this past year and a half. We have signed 31 new student athletes with 27 of them being Minnesota born and raised. We are making a major commitment to keeping the top-of-line local student athlete here at SCSU, and keep the majority of our recruiting in the state of Minnesota with some “program changers” both regionally and nationally
Many of you I already know and I look forward to “reconnecting” with you. To the others former Huskies I do not know, I’m looking forward to meeting you and developing a solid relationship with you and ALL OF OUR HUSKY ALUMS!
For us to continue the great tradition of baseball at St. Cloud State University, we will have to do what many other successful college programs do and that is to have strong involvement from our alumni. Your support and interest is important and greatly appreciated. By giving back to the Husky Baseball Family you’re giving back to student-athletes that are in the same situation you were once in. And I want to strongly point out that financial giving isn’t the only way to give back to the program. Providing us with recruiting leads on BIG TIME players, attending our games and Husky baseball events, and just word of mouth promotion of the great tradition of SCSU Husky Baseball can all do amazing things!
We have set up a Husky Dugout Club that we would love your involvement in. It can be as simple as just being a member, serving on a Husky Dugout Club fundraiser committee, having a business you are involved with sponsor a hole at our golf tournament….OR EVEN GETTING THE CLEATS BACK OUT (and Advil!) and playing in our Husky Alumni Game!! WE JUST WANT AND NEED YOU INVOLVED!

Husky Dugout Club
SCSU Alumni! You can help support the St. Cloud State University baseball program by becoming a member of the Husky Dugout Club.
