2010: Played in 15 games and started in three contests for the Huskies...went 7-for-19 from the plate to finish the year with a .368 batting average...drove in four runs with one double and one triple...scored eight runs...drew four walks to post 10 total bases on the season...scored a run in his first appearance against Wisconsin-Parkside (2/7/10)...recorded his first hit of the season against Southern Arkansas (3/7/10)...made his first start of the season against Minnesota, Crookston (3/20/10)...went 2-for-3 in the game with three runs scored, three walks, one RBI, one double and one triple...recorded a five-game hitting streak from March 3 through March 26...posted a 1.000 fielding percentage with four putouts.

2009: Maher gained four hits and four RBI in 2009...added a double and two RBI against Northern State (4/26/09) and batted .571 in seven at-bats for the Huskies in 2009.

2008: Sat out last season as a red-shirt.

PRIOR TO SCSU: Played last season for Central Lakes College…was an All-Conference and All-State First Team pick.

HIGH SCHOOL: Won three letters for coach Joel Roelofs’ Rockets...a three-time All-Conference honoree…was team’s Mr. RBI, Most Valuable Hitter and MVP two years straight…set Rockford High’s career home run record…was awarded three letters in football…was team’s Most Valuable Running Back and Most Improved Offensive Player…also was two-time Special Teams Player of the Year...took home three letters in basketball, earning an All-Conference nod his senior year.

PERSONAL: Son of Tony and Teresa Maher…a 2006 graduate of Rockford H.S….earned a spot on the “B” Honor Roll throughout school…lists greatest sports thrill as going to state in basketball his junior season…touts Brett Favre as his favorite sports personality…says his parents are the biggest influence on his career…a secondary education major at SCSU.
