2011: Cariveau was named the 2011 NSIC tournament MVP and was also selected to the NSIC All-Tournament team...a 2011 All-NSIC Second Team selection...NCBWA, Rawling/ABCA and Dakotronics All-Region pick in 2011...ranked third on team with a .335 batting average...posted 65 hits and 48 runs for the Huskies...also notched 11 doubles, one triple and four home runs along with 35 RBIs...tallied 75 putouts and 124 assists...charted 20 multi-hit games during 2011 season...enjoyed a three hit, three RBI performance against Augustana at NSIC tournament.
2010: Made 27 starts for the Huskies at second base, including the final 23 games...played in 41 total games...batted .364 in 88 at-bats...recorded 32 hits and scored 23 runs...recorded three doubles and a homerun...drove in 13 runs...posted a .432 slugging percentage while reaching 38 total bases...drew 16 walks...stole 11 of 12 bases attempted...recorded 50 putouts and 76 assists defensively...finished the season with a .926 fielding percentage...named to the NCAA Division II Central Region All-Tournament team.
2009: Redshirt athlete at SCSU in 2009. 
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-time letter winner for Sauk Rapids…won All-State honors his senior season…played in the Minnesota Lion’s All Star Game this past summer…named to the All-Area and All-Conference teams...named team’s Defensive MVP…batted a gaudy .519 with 34 RBIs, 28 runs and 15 stolen bases his senior campaign…named Team MVP his senior season…also earned three letters on the ice for the S.R. hockey squad.
PERSONAL: A 2008 graduate of Sauk Rapids-Rice H.S…the son of Rick and Julie Cariveau…cites his dad as having the greatest influence on his career…hitting two home runs against Apollo is his greatest sports thrill…majoring in industrial technology.
COACHES' TAKE: “Travis positioned himself among the top shortstops in all of NCAA Division II baseball last year. He has a lot of athletic ability with great speed with both his feet and bat. We are expecting big things once again from Carv in 2012.”
