2009: Will serve as a team captain in 2010...led Huskies with 172 at-bats and 50 runs in 2009...All-NSIC Academic pick in 2009...batted .349 with 60 hits, 41 RBIs, 12 doubles, two triples and six homers in 2009...charted 21 putouts and 75 assists at third base for SCSU...chalked up 4 hits and 3 RBIs against RIT on March 7, 2009...also had 4 RBIs in play against UW-Parkside on Feb. 8, 2009.

2008: Hit first career home run as part of 2-4, three-RBI performance vs. Briar Cliff on March 16…finished third in the NCC in walks with 31…posted career high in hits (3), runs (4) and RBI (3) against Mary on March 2…2-3, three RBI against Bethany Lutheran on April 23…had a pair of home runs in North Dakota series…

2007: Batted .200 in his freshman year, banging out nine hits, including five RBIs…an NCC All-Academic selection…

HIGH SCHOOL: In 2006 the four-year letterwinner was named Conference Pitcher of the Year, Whitefish Bay Pitcher of the Year and made the Honorable Mention list for the region…posted a 7-2 record with a 1.56 ERA his final season…

PERSONAL: Son of Richard and Marci Radbil…a 2006 graduate of Whitefish Bay H.S…high honor roll his senior and junior seasons…his most exciting sports moment was hitting a walk-off home run against rival Nicolet his senior year…favorite athlete is Chad Johnson…credits brothers Noah and Aaron as having the most influence on his career…a sport management major and public relations/advertising minor at SCSU.

COACHES' TAKE:
"Sam has been a two-year starter for us at third base and we look for him to anchor the leftside of our infield once more in 2010. His ability on defense and offense has been a major asset for this program over the past two seasons."
