2011: Redshirt season at SCSU.
2010: Made five appearances in his first season with SCSU...pitched 4.2 innings in relief...recorded four strikeouts...made first collegiate appearance against Bemidji State (2/27/10)...struck out two batters in .2 innings of work against Northern State (4/25/10)...went 1-for-2 from the plate with a run scored against Minnesota, Crookston (3/20/10) in his only two plate appearance of the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Flandreau Public High School...gained a 1.50 ERA during his senior season...All-State Honorable Mention selection in high school...selected to South Dakota Coaches' All-Star team...lettered in football, basketball, track, baseball and golf in high school...two-time All-Conference and Southeast All-Star selection in basketball...state qualifier in both track and golf.
PERSONAL: Son of Todd and Lisa Sanderson of Elkton, S.D...enjoying hanging out with friends...National Honor Society in high school...selected to participate in Governor Leadership Luncheon...mass communications/public relations major...marking minor at SCSU...on Dean's List at SCSU and Athletic Academic Honor Roll.
