2011: A banner year for Lieser in 2011...All-NSIC Second Team...Rawlings/ABCA and NCBWA All-Central Region Second Team selection...2011 NCAA DII Central Regional All-Tournament team...All-NSIC Tournament team...led the Huskies with a school record nine wins (9-0) and 52 strikeouts...charted a 2.91 ERA...pitched no-hitter and 10 strikeouts against Northern State on April 27...NSIC Pitcher of the Week on May 2 and NCBWA National DII Pitcher of the Week on May 5...led Huskies to a win over Augustana at NCAA Regional tournament with nine inning complete games decision.
2010: Made 19 appearances and two starts on the mound for the Huskies...went a perfect 3-0 on the season...pitchedd 33.0 innings...struckout 33 of 137 batters faced...finished the season with a 6.55 ERA....made first collegiate appearance against Wisconsin Parkside (2/6/10)...made first start against Northern State, going five innings (4/26/10) to earn his second win as a Husky...made second start of his career against Minnesota State in the Central Regional tournament to earn his third win of the season in a 16-6 win...went five innings in the game with a career-high eight strikeouts...recorded first win of his collegiate career after pitching three scoreless innings in a 7-5 win over Concordia (4/11/10)...
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Browerville High School...Lieser earned five letters in baseball during his prep career...helped team make it to state tournament twice...two-time team MVP...selected to the Lions' All-Star Team in 2009...All-Conference selection in basketball and four-time letterwinner in basketball...four-time letterwinner in football...team captain and All-Conference Honorable Mention in football.
PERSONAL: Son of Steve and Doris Lieser of Browerville...enjoys hunting, swimming, fishing and hanging out with friends.
