2011: An All-NSIC Second Team selection in 2011...named to 2011 All-NSIC Academic and 2011 Capital One Academic All-District College Division team...played in 52 games for SCSU...batted .333 with 30 runs, 41 hits, six doubles, two homers and 25 RBIs...led team with 20 stolen bases and set team record by being hit by a pitch 26 times in 2011...also had 70 putouts and no errors in the outfielder for SCSU in 2011.
: Played in 47 games and started in 15 for the Huskies...went to the plate 65 times...recorded 12 hits and scored 24 runs...hit the first homerun of his career in the third round of the NCAA Central Region tournament against MInnesota State (5/15/10)...drove in nine runs...posted 15 total bases...drew nine walks...reached safely in 10 of 11 stolen base attempts...posted 45 putouts and only one error to record a .978 fielding percentage defensively.

HIGH SCHOOL: Won three letters on the diamond for Bob Karn’s Crusaders…a two-time 2A All-State Team selection…also a two-time St. Cloud All-Area and All-Conference selection…played in the 2008 Lion’s All-Star Game…part of 2007 Cathedral State Championship squad in which he was named to the All-Tournament Team...was a two-time letter winner in football and basketball, being named captain his senior season of basketball.
PERSONAL: The son of Lynn Imholte and the late Glenn Imholte…a 2008 graduate of St. Cloud Cathedral…cites his father as having the most influence on him…J.A. Adande is his favorite sports personality…hitting a walk-off base hit to win the State Championship in 2007 is his best sports memory…plays the piano/keyboard, ping pong and mini-baseball in his spare time…a radio broadcast and communication studies major.
COACHES' TAKE: “Phil has major league speed and is very solid defensively. He also charted strong offensive numbers in 2011 and we expect him to be one of our team leaders in the outfield again in 2012.”
