2009: Will serve as a team captain in 2010...Hammes led the Huskies with 61 hits and a .361 batting clip in 2009...he also led the club by being hit by 12 pitches in 2009...also punched out 12 doubles, two triples, 6 homers and 42 RBIs in 2009...led Huskies with 340 putouts...98.6% fielding rate with only five errors...earned All-NSIC Second Team honors as a junior...had 10 multi-hit games in 2009...posted 3 RBIs and 3 hits against Minnesota Crookston on Mar. 20, 2009...played for Brainerd Lunkers of the Northwoods League during the summer of 2009.
2008: Recorded first hit as a Husky on March 2…finished third in the NCC in triples with four…drove in nine runs with three triples in March 2 doubleheader against Mary…hit first home run on March 15 at Morningside...batted .489 (22-45) over 15-game stretch with 18 RBI and eight extra-base hits…3-4 with two runs scored against Bethany Lutheran on April 23…
