HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Maple Grove High School, where he played under coach Darby Carlson…a three-time letterwinner in baseball…started all three seasons for the Crimson…earned All-Conference and All-Conference Honorable Mention accolades…an A-honor roll student as a senior.

PERSONAL: The son of Dave and Angie Ditty of Maple Grove…lists his dad as having the greatest influence on his career…on Dean's List at SCSU...enjoys playing pond hockey, fishing and ping pong as his favorite activities outside of baseball…names Gordan Beckman as his favorite sports personality…sports and recreation management major at SCSU...minor in coaching.

COACHES' TAKE: “Max is a gifted right-handed hitting infielder, who showed great development during his redshirt season at SCSU in 2011.  He has great range in the field and solid throwing arm. He has the skills to play three infield spots and he’ll find a way to get into the line up sooner than later with his great love of the game and work ethic.”
