HIGH SCHOOL: Won three letters for coach Dan Paulson’s Tigers…All-State, All-Conference and Academic All-State his senior season…broke his high school’s single season hits record with 40 in 2006…won three letters in both basketball and football…named Wright County Quarterback of the Year in 2005 and went to three state tournaments with football team…two-time All-Conference pick and Team MVP his final year…an All-Conference pick in basketball All-State Honorable Mention in 2004…

PERSONAL: Son of Herb and Shelly Koch…a 2006 graduate of Delano H.S….on the “A” honor roll and was schools “AAA” award winner…most memorable athletic experience was playing in an amateur baseball game with all three of his brothers and his father on the field at the same time…lists Chris Berman as favorite sports personality…acknowledges his dad as having the greatest influence on his career…a finance major.

"Kent is a gifted all-around athlete who can play second base, shortstop or third base.  He has a strong bat, runs well and will battle for one of the middle infield spots this season."
