2009: Heuer saw action in 33 games as a sophomore...charted 10 hits, six runs and 4 RBI...carded four doubles for the Huskies...batted .303 in 2009.
2008: Sat out the season as a red-shirt.
PRIOR TO SCSU: Spent 2007 at Cardinal Stritch University…hit .380 and earned a letter for CSU.
HIGH SCHOOL: Received two letters for Barry Boever’s Rebels…a two-time All-Conference pick…hit .370 in his career at Champlin Park…also won three letters in football.
PERSONAL: Son of Wayne and Cindy Heuer…a 2006 grad of Champlin Park H.S….was on “A” honor roll throughout high school and named to Dean’s List at Cardinal Stritch in 2006-07…winning the AAU 14U Gopher State Championship is his greatest sports thrill…names Ken Griffey Jr. as favorite sports personality…cites his dad as his biggest influence…majoring in hydrology/geology...did research with SCSU professor in ocean flow density currents for his hydrology major...
interned at St. Anthony Falls Laboratory for the University of Minnesota...he is also the Hydrology Club President at SCSU.
COACHES' TAKE: “Jeff was our key left handed pinch hitter off the bench last year that clutched up many times for us. He will be fighting for the DH spot left by Beau Musgjerd. We need him to have a senior year like Beau did for us last year.”
