2009: Deminsky earned NCBWA All-Region Second Team honors and ABCA/Rawling All-Region Second Team honors in 2009...named All-NSIC First Team in 2009...All-NSIC Academic award winner in 2009...NSIC Pitcher of the Week on March 30, 2009 and May 4, 2009...set team record with 88 strikeouts in 2009 and led team with 66.1 innings pitched in 2009...posted 7-1 overall record with a 3.12 ERA last spring...had 10 strikeouts apiece in games against Bemidji State and Minnesota Crookston in 2009..charted shutout win against arch rival Minnesota State on May 3, which included seven strikeouts...played for St. Cloud Riverbats of Northwoods League in summer of 2009. Named a NWL All-Star in 2009.
2008: Earned an Honorable Mention to the All-NCC Team…led staff in ERA (4.07) and walked just nine in just under 60 innings…fanned eight or more batters in four of his first six appearances…won first career game over Mary on March 5…allowed three runs or less in six of nine starts…
PRIOR TO SCSU: Attended Ridgewater CC in 2007, leading the team in wins (8), ERA (2.61) and strikeouts (77)...started game one of the NJCAA Division III World Series for the Warriors...graduated in one year with his AA degree and a 3.5 GPA...
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a 2006 All-State pick and Lion’s All Star Game participant...All-Conference in 2005 and 2006...was named to the St. Cloud Times All-Area Team as a pitcher and outfielder in 2005 and 2006...holds Sartell High School records for most wins and strikeouts in a season with nine and 83 respectively...won 2005 Consolation Title at Minnesota State High School Tournament with his Sartell squad...
PERSONAL: Son of Mark and Elaine Deminsky...A 2006 graduate of Sartell High School....is a physical education major at SCSU with minor in DAPE/Coaching.
