2009: A starter for the Huskies in left field for many games in 2009...batted .287 with 29 hits, eight RBIs, 23 runs scored and 101 at bats...charted two doubles and four triples for SCSU in 2009...had five multi-hit games in 2009...gained three hits and three runs in game vs. Missouri Southern on Feb. 13...35 putouts in 2009.
2008: Recorded first career hit, run and stolen base against Peru State on Feb. 23…blasted first career home run vs. Briar Cliff on March 15…knocked in a season high three runs against Mary on March 2 and against Malone on March 7 in Arizona…had a 3-4 day at Morningside on March 16…
2007: Sat out season as a redshirt…
HIGH SCHOOL: Won two letters for coach Dennis Schomer’s Beavers…was a two-time All-Conference pick and Team MVP…hit .478 with 32 RBIs and four home runs his senior season…named to WBCA All-Star Team and to the All-District squad…also won two letters in basketball and one in football, winning Defensive MVP honors for the hoops team…
PERSONAL: The son of John and Julie Peyer…a 2006 graduate of Reedsburg Area H.S….was a High Honor Roll student during prep years…Brett Favre is his favorite athlete…names his grandfather as having the greatest influence on his career…says hitting home runs to beat conference opponent Portage in back-to-back years as his biggest sports thrill…an education major and coaching minor.
