Becky Anderson Enebak, Gary Frericks, Reggie Perkins, Butch Raymond, and Rosie Silbaugh Stallman Inducted into 2005 SCSU Athletic Hall of Fame
St. Cloud State University inducted five new members into the Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, October 29. The inductees include track and field star Becky Anderson Enebak; football, basketball and baseball standout Gary Frericks; All-American basketball player Reggie Perkins; former men's basketball coach Butch Raymond; and women's athletics pioneer in volleyball, basketball and softball Rosie Silbaugh Stallman.

Becky Anderson Enebak - Track and Field, 1987-1992
Becky Anderson had one of the most prolific careers of any athlete at SCSU in a career spanning from 1988 to 1992. As a freshman member of the track and field team in 1988, she won three North Central Conference titles, including an indoor long jump title, and the outdoor long jump and triple jump titles. She repeated as NCC champion in all three events in 1989. In 1990, she won the indoor triple jump and the outdoor long jump. In 1992, she came back to win the indoor and outdoor triple jump titles. She set the NCC outdoor long jump record in 1989. That adds up to ten NCC Championships, including four straight outdoor triple jump championships. Needless to say, she set school records in both the indoor and outdoor long and triple jumps, and all four records still stand in today's record book. The records are indoor long jump (18'11 _"), indoor triple jump (39'9"), outdoor long jump (19' 4 _"), and the outdoor triple jump (39' 6 _"). She was voted the 1989 NCC Outstanding Female Athlete at the outdoor championships. In 1990, she earned NCAA All-American honors with a sixth place finish in the triple jump at the NCAA Division II National Championships. In 1992, Anderson placed fourth in the long jump and fourth in the triple jump at the NCAA indoor national championships earning All-American honors. She made a return visit to the NCAA outdoor championships in 1992, placing sixth in both the long jump and triple jump, earning two more All-American honors. She left SCSU as a six-time track and field All-American. She was named the 1991 All-American Strength and Conditioning Woman Athlete of the Year for SCSU and 1992 SCSU Woman Track Athlete of the Year. Anderson also did well in the classroom as she earned NCC All-Academic team honors four times. She was an active member of the SCSU Vanguard program, was a 1992 SCSU Excellence in Leadership Award winner, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1992. Becky is a native of Barnesville, Minn., and currently resides with her family in Prior Lake, Minn.
Gary Frericks - Football, Basketball, Baseball, 1974-1979
Gary Frericks was a four-year starter and letterwinner on both the St. Cloud State football and baseball teams from 1974 to 1979. In addition, he played one season of basketball for the Huskies. He was a team captain, team MVP, and First Team All-Northern Intercollegiate Conference pick in football in 1977. A defensive back in football, Frericks still holds the SCSU single game record for tackles in a game. In a game against the University of Minnesota Duluth in 1977, Frericks tallied 25 tackles, including seven solo and 18 unassisted. That same year he led the team with five interceptions. In the spring of 1978, he was a team captain, team MVP and First Team All-NIC as an outfielder on the baseball team. During the 1976 and 1977 seasons, he led the team in hits with 25 and 40, respectively. He hit .305 during the 1976 season and .388 in 1977. He was a member of the 1976 and 1978 NIC Championship Baseball teams. Gary and his family reside in St. Joseph, Minn.
Reggie Perkins, Men's Basketball, 1984-88
Reggie Perkins was a member of the Husky basketball team during one of the most exciting, memorable runs in the history of the program. Perkins played basketball from 1984 to 1988. During that span, SCSU won an unprecedented three straight North Central conference championships in 1986, 1987, and 1988. In addition, SCSU won the 1985 and 1986 NCC Holiday Tournament. The Huskies also made three trips to the NCAA Division II North Central Region Tournament, advancing to the Region title game in 1985 and 1987. The Huskies lost in 1985, won the 1987 region championships and went on to host the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division II Elite Eight in 1987. Perkins was a two-time North Central Conference MVP and two-time All-North Central Conference team pick. He earned All-North Central Region MVP honors in 1987 and was a three-time pick to the North Central Region All-Tournament team. He was a 1988 NABC Division II Second Team All-American and a Street & Smith All-American in 1987 and 1988. He was named the 1987-88 Red Severson Award Winner, which is given to the Team MVP annually. He was also named to the 1986 NCC Holiday Tournament All-Tournament team. Perkins holds the school record for steals with 258 and ranks second on the all-time assist list with 597. He held the career assist record from 1988 to 1995. He ranks second all-time in field goals made and is fifth in all-time scoring with 1,582 career points. He currently holds the single season record for most steals with 74 set in 1987-88 and at one time held the single game assist record of 14 and the single season assist mark with 181 assists. During all four years of his career at SCSU, Perkins led the team in steals. He was also the team assist leader for three seasons and the team scoring leader his junior and senior seasons. He currently ranks third in the NCC in career steals with 160, fourth in career steals average with 2.29 per game, and fifth in career assists with 377. He became only the eighth player at the time to score 1,000 points in an NCC career and finished with 1,001 career points in league play. He was the NCC champion in three statistical categories during his career. Perkins led the league in field goals made in 1987 and 1988, and was the league leader in steal average in 1985. The Huskies won 91 games during Perkins playing career and were ranked number one in the national poll for four consecutive weeks during the 1985-86 season. The Huskies were ranked as high as #3 during the 1986-87 season and were #2 in the final poll of the 1987-88 season. He was selected to the North Central Conference 25 th Silver Anniversary Team. Following his collegiate career with the Huskies, Perkins was drafted by the Rochester Flyers of the CBA. He toured the world while playing for the World Famous Harlem Globetrotters from 1993 to 1996. He was an assistant SCSU basketball coach during the 1999-2000 season and was the men's golf coach for two seasons. Perkins is a native of Milwaukee, Wisc. He and his family reside in Apple Valley, Minn., where he is the owner of Perkins Player Development.
Butch Raymond, SCSU Men's Basketball Coach, 1984-1997
Butch Raymond marched the sideline at Halenbeck Hall for 13 seasons from 1984 to 1997 at the St. Cloud State University men's basketball coach. When he left to become an athletics administrator, he left behind an unprecedented era in Husky basketball, leading the Huskies to three straight North Central Conference titles. In his 13 seasons with the Huskies, Raymond compiled a 231-142 won/loss record, the most wins of any coach in University history. He is also the longest tenured coach in SCSU basketball history, working the hard court for 13 seasons. He guided the Huskies to the triple crown of Husky basketball, winning North Central Conference titles in 1986, 1987 and 1988. In 25 years as a collegiate coach, he had compiled an impressive 449-300 record, which, at the time, ranked him among the top 20 active NCAA Division II coaches for most career wins. In 1984 Raymond, the 11 th head coach in the history of the program, inherited a team, that had posted a 4-24 record during the previous season. In his first season he guided the Huskies to a 15-13 record. Four times he led the Huskies to 20-plus win seasons and the NCAA Regional tournament. In 1987, St. Cloud State advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division II National Tournament. Raymond coached 18 players to All-Conference status and three of his players were named league MVP - Kevin Catron in 1986, Reggie Perkins in 1987 and 1988, and Joel McDonald in 1995. Raymond is a two-time North Central Conference Coach of the Year (1986 and 1987) and two-time Kodak District Coach of the Year. In 1994, Raymond received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Minnesota State High School Athletic Directors Association. He is a member of the Minnesota State University, Mankato Hall of Fame. A native of Jasper, Minn., Raymond is currently the Commissioner of the Northern Sun Conference and resides with his wife in Eagan, Minn.
Rosie Silbaugh Stallman, Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, 1970-1973
Rosie Silbaugh was a pioneer in women's athletics at St. Cloud State as she was a member of some of the earliest teams to compete at the intercollegiate level. The first women's intercollegiate sport team to compete at SCSU was softball in the spring of 1969. Volleyball started competing in the fall of 1969 and basketball's first competition was held in the winter of 1971. Stallman captained the 1971 and 1973 volleyball teams. In 1973, the Huskies posted a 13-8 record and won the MWIAA State Tournament. In the four seasons that Silbaugh was a member of the volleyball team, SCSU posted a 42-27 record. She played basketball during the 1970-71 season and was a student assistant coach in the winter of 1973. Silbaugh played first base and was a starter on the softball team from 1971 to 1973. In 1973 she hit .429 for the Huskies. While a student, Silbaugh served as the student athlete representative at the MWIAA State Conferences and was the historian for the Women's Recreational Association from 1972 to 1974. Silbaugh has been a collegiate softball and volleyball coach at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, Minnesota State, Mankato and Texas Wesleyan University. In addition, she has been the Athletics Director at Texas Wesleyan University and Eastern New Mexico State University. She is currently the Director of Education Outreach at the NCAA. Silbaugh is a native of Austin, Minn., and currently resides in Indianapolis, Ind.
