Graystone Nordic Ski Trails

The St. Cloud State Nordic Ski team practices and has its home meets at the Graystone Nordic Ski Trail Complex in St. Cloud.  The trails are located within one mile of the SCSU campus on the east side of St. Cloud.  The Graystone Nordic Ski Complex provides outstanding surfaces for both freestyle and classic events on its groomed trails.  The weather conditions in Central Minnesota typically provide consistent snow amounts throughout the season for both practice and competition.

Directions to Graystone Trails

From I-94:

  • Take exit 171 into St. Cloud.
  • Follow Co Rd 75 for 3.5 miles.
  • Turn right at the intersection of CO Rd 75 and Cooper. This new roadway turns into 10th St. South.
  • Follow 10th Street across the river (you are now on Michigan Ave).
  • Proceed to 15th Ave SE (2nd stopsign) and take a right.
  • Take your next left (Minnesota Blvd.).
  • Graystone Ski Trails are on the right side of road (look for yellow gate). Trailhead and Parking are by the barn straight ahead.

From Hwy 10:

  • On the South end of St. Cloud, turn West onto County Road 301 (Minnesota Blvd) by the MN Correctional Facility.
  • Go ~ ½ mile. Graystone Ski Trails are on the left side of road (look for yellow gate). Trailhead and Parking are by the barn straight ahead.

From the west on Hwy 23:

  • Follow Hwy 23 into St. Cloud.
  • Hwy 23 will become 2nd Street at the Hwy 15 intersection.
  • Follow 2nd Street to the Cooper intersection. (DO NOT FOLLOW HWY 23!)
  • Turn left at the intersection of Cooper and 2nd street (co-named CO Rd 75). This new roadway turns into 10th Street South.
  • Follow 10th Street across the river (you are now on Michigan Ave).
  • Proceed to 15th Ave SE (2nd stopsign) and take a right.
  • Take your next left (Minnesota Blvd. / 301).
  • Graystone Ski Trails are on the right side of road (look for yellow gate). Trailhead and Parking are by the barn straight ahead.

From the east on Hwy 23:

  • Follow Hwy 23 into St. Cloud.
  • Hwy 23 to Hwy 10 South.
  • Turn West onto County Road 301 (Minnesota Blvd) by the MN Correctional Facility.
  • Go ~ ½ mile. Graystone Ski Trails are on the left side of road (look for yellow gate). Trailhead and Parking are by the barn straight ahead.
