2009 Starz of Tomorrow Holiday Baseball Camp
The St. Cloud State University baseball coaching staff and other top area baseball coaches will be sponsoring the 3rd Annual “Starz of Tomorrow Holiday Baseball Camp” for youth baseball players on Monday-Wednesday, Dec. 28-30 with two day camps for both 9-12th graders and 8th graders and below.
The cost for the commuter camp is $100.00 and $125.00 for overnight campers, who will be lodged at the Grandstay Residential Suites, less than one mile from the SCSU campus.
The camp will be held in the SCSU Husky Dome, which is one of the best indoor training facilities in the country. The synthetic turfed field is 80 yards x 120 yards and is 120’ high.
“We are very excited to get our off-season camps going. Last year we had over 200 kids participating in our Holiday camp. It’s really a great baseball experience over the holiday break,” said clinic director and SCSU head baseball coach Pat Dolan.
Camp enrollment is limited, so please sign up early. The registration deadline is December 15th or when filled. Because this camp has filled up in the past, there will be no 'day of' registration.
“We will emphasize the most important reason we all play the game, for the FUN of it. We will also stress the fundamentals and incorporate simulated drills. We’ll also play some games in the dome, which the kids love the most. The camp could be a great holiday gift for any youth baseball player,” Dolan said.
For more information or to register for the camp on line please visit www.StarzBaseballCamp.com or call (320) 333-3336 or email at Pat@StarzBaseballCamp.com
