Tracy Dill

Associate Athletic Director

After coaching men’s and women’s track and field and football at St. Cloud State, Tracy Dill was promoted to Associate Athletic Director for Marketing, Promotions and Fundraising in September of 1999. Since that time, he has been responsible for promoting, marketing and fundraising for the SCSU athletic department.

He has been instrumental in creating added visibility and broadening the SCSU
branding program for intercollegiate athletics.

Dill joined the SCSU athletic department in 1985 as an assistant football coach. In 1988, in addition to his football responsibilities, he was named head men’s track and field coach. In 1995, he resigned from his football coaching duties and became the head coach for both men’s and women’s track and field. As the men’s track coach, he coached 15 North Central Conference Indoor Track Champions and 19 NCC Outdoor Champions.

He coached three NCC Champions each in women’s indoor track and outdoor track. In addition, he coached 21 All-Americans and two National Champions.

Dill is a native of Keota, Iowa. He has an undergraduate degree from William Penn College in Iowa and his master’s from St. Cloud State. He and his wife Kristy have two sons, Trey and Tye, and he resides in St. Cloud.
