Heather Weems, associate athletics director/senior woman administrator at Drake University, has been named Director of Athletics at St. Cloud State University effective July 1.

On-campus interviews for Director of Athletics are scheduled for Wednesday, March 14. Three candidates will be interviewed on the same day with a rotating schedule. Public open forums are at 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. in Halenbeck Hall and Student Recreation Center. All other meetings are for identified constituents.

February 2012 Update
The Search Advisory Committee has begun review of candidate files and expects to meet with semi-finalists before spring break in order to make a recommendation to the University President regarding finalists to be invited for campus interviews. In compliance with the Minnesota Data Practices Act, Minnesota Statues Chapter 13, all candidate information is classified as private data and only the names of finalists confirmed for campus interviews will be made public. Campus interviews are expected to be announced sometime next month.
