Assessment Plans and Annual Reports

The University’s annual assessment report details university level assessment events, data, and other related information, in addition to facts provided by college assessment directors. The report is made public once it has been submitted to Academic Affairs.

Assessment Plans for academic programs are listed by college. A complete plan contains the following four elements:

  1. The Program’s Mission
  2. Student Learning Outcomes - what you want your students to know, do or value upon completion of your program.
  3. Program Matrix - which shows which courses or extra-curricular activities will be used to assess each student learning outcome.
  4. Timeframe - this identifies when (which year) these assessments will take place.
