Project #2: Assessment of Student Learning in Programs

As a result of completing the Academy, SCSU will ensure that all academic programs will regularly assess and document student learning based on intended learning outcomes for those programs, and will take action based on that analysis to confirm or improve student learning.

Key terms:

All academic programs
This project focuses on undergraduate major programs and graduate programs.

Regularly assess and document
An annual report describing assessment activities, key findings, and uses of results is required.

Will take action
Program faculty will meet at least once per year to discuss assessment findings, and annual report will describe uses of assessment information to improve student learning and the assessment process.
