Open Call to Artists to Exhibit Art

The Kiehle Gallery Committee is currently receiving proposals from contemporary artists to show exciting recent work in our large exhibition space (1450 sq. ft). Eight shows are held per academic year, and each runs approximately one month. A reception and artist talk is held for each.
Artists are awarded an honorarium for displaying their work and doing a gallery talk or slide lecture. The gallery sends out color postcards to a good-sized mailing list and publishes an online web portfolio to publicize each show. Work is insured but there is very limited funding for the transportation of art pieces.
Although the gallery committee is constantly willing to receive proposals, a schedule for the academic year is usually tentatively agreed upon during the month of February.
