Jim Knutson-Kolodzne (Ottawa)
Jim is responsible for the direction and management of the AIC. Together with the AIC staff, in addition to providing programs and services, they work on initiatives to increase recruitment, retention, and the development of new methods of access and success for American Indian students. Jim is completing his doctoral degree from St. Cloud State University in Higher Education Leadership. He is an enrolled member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, Manistee, MI.
Heather Hammond is the Office Manager for the American Indian Center. She joined the American Indian Center staff in March, 2013. Heather graduated from SCSU with a B.A. in 2009, and is currently pursuing her M.S. in Instructional Design and Training.
Emily Olson is the Graduate Assistant for the American Indian Center. She worked as a Student Employee for the Center from June, 2013 to May, 2015. Emily graduated from SCSU with a B.E.S. in Biology in 2015. She is currently pursuing her M.S. in Ecology and Natural Resources with an emphasis in Fisheries and Aquatic Biology. Emily is also an enrolled member of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
