Who is welcome at the American Indian Center?

Although we concentrate on providing support to American Indian students, we welcome all St. Cloud State University community members to visit. The AIC promotes a better understanding and acceptance of American Indian culture through education by sharing knowledge of the culture with all non-Indian people who come to the center. The American Indian Center is “A place for everyone”

What student support services do you provide?

We provide assistance in the admissions process, financial aid, personal concerns, academic concerns, tutoring, advising, housing, and career development. We can also provide referrals to other SCSU agencies. The AIC is a great place to study, and meet other American Indian students.

Is tutoring help available?

Yes. We can pair you with one of the tutors we provide, or refer you to a tutor that specializes in the subject you are studying.

What should I do if I am placed on academic probation?

If you are placed on academic probation or think you might be in academic trouble please contact the center, immediately. We have worked with students on these issues before and can assist you in getting back in good academic standing with the University.
