ST. CLOUD STATE UNIVERSITY POLICIES, GUIDELINES, PROCEDURES AND RESOURCES

FOR DISABILITY ACCOMMODATIONS

St. Cloud State University (SCSU) is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for enrolled or admitted students, applicants or employees, who have documented disabilities under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). Title I of the ADA and the Minnesota Human Rights Act make it unlawful to discriminate in employment against a qualified individual with a disability.

It is the policy of SCSU that the campus shall make services available for any student and employee who can document a disability. Students and employees can expect appropriate services including; 1) support and information, 2) accommodation services, and 3) advocacy services.

In general, SCSU policy calls for reasonable accommodations to be made for employees and students with disabilities on an individualized and flexible basis. It is the responsibility of students and employees with disabilities, however, to seek available assistance at SCSU and to make their needs known.
