When planning conferences, events and activities, have someone in your office or department be responsible for handling request for accommodations. In registration brochures, invitations, or fliers, use the following access statement:

Publications, Program Brochures, Etc.

Publications, such as course syllabi, college bulletins, program brochures, class schedules, newsletters and instructional publications must be provided in alternative formats (Braille, large print, tape, electronic) upon request; Student Disability Services will assist with document conversion, 320-308-4080 (V/MRS). In these publications use the following statement:

It is St. Cloud State University policy to provide, on a flexible and individualized basis, reasonable accommodations to students who have disabilities that may affect their ability to participate in course activities or to meet course requirements. Students with disabilities are encouraged to contact their instructors to discuss their individual needs for accommodations.

TELECOMMUNICATION ACCESS STATEMENT

St. Cloud State University abides by the Americans with Disabilities Act Title IV which requires that telecommunication services be made accessible to persons with hearing and speech impairments and has specific reference to the development of telecommunications relay systems and closed captioning technology.
