First Year Students
New Student Checklist
Before your Advising & Registration Day

Send Transcripts of AP, IB, or CLEP tests; the PSEO program; or college
courses offered in the high school to the Records and Registration Office.
If scores and transcripts are not yet available please bring with you a
listing of the courses/tests

If you plan on living on campus, please complete the application form by visiting the Residential
Life website and clicking on the On-campus housing application.

If you did not graduate from a Minnesota high school, or if you graduated from a high school prior to 1996, you are required to fill out an Immunization Form prior to registering for courses. Please visit Health Services and click on Immunization. You will be provided with instructions and a link to the online immunization form. If you have questions about this requirement please contact Health Services at 320-308-3191.

If you are a student who requires accommodations due to a disability, please contact Student Disability Services (320/308-4080) at least two weeks prior to your Advising Day to request accomodations for your Adviisng Day.

Review your confirmation mailing which will arrive shortly before your scheduled Advising and Registration Day.

Activate your HuskyNet (email) account and check it regularly

Complete Respect and Responsibility Workshop requirement

Pay tuition and fees or provide a down payment to avoid cancellation
of registration (learn more about the Drop
for Non-Payment Policy)

Purchase books at the Husky Bookstore or online using Husky
Books Express.
