![]() Advising and Registration DaysAcademic Advising at St. Cloud State UniversityQuick tipFor more information on advising, you may visit the Advising Center website. Whether you are a transfer student or a student who is attending college for the first time, you will not be navigating the university alone. There are many student services professionals here to serve you, and your academic advisor is one of them. New students are assigned an advisor in the first and second week of the semester. Students who have yet to declare an intended major are assigned to an advisor in the Advising Center. Students who have an intended major will be assigned to a departmental Advising Center (Business, Criminal Justice, and Elementary Education), while others will be assigned directly to faculty in the department of the student’s intended major.
Students may change their intended major by filling out a Change of Intended Major form at the Advising Center, Centennial Hall, Room 210 or the Office of Records and Registration, Administrative Services, Room 118. |
