
First Year Student:
You are considered a First-Year Student if this is your first
university experience. You can still have credits through St. Cloud State University
or another university through the Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO),
Advanced Placement, or a College in the Schools Program, and still be considered
a first-year student.
Transfer Student:
You are a Transfer Student if you have been enrolled at a University,
Community College, and/or Technical College following high school graduation.

Your Advising and Registration Day is the next step in your path toward being a student at St. Cloud State University. Our staff works with offices across the entire breadth of the university to make certain that during your Advising Day we offer you the resources you need to be successful in your first semester.
We host separate Advising Days for first-year
students and transfer students.
If you are unsure about your status please refer to your acceptance
letter which will designate your status as a new student at St. Cloud State University.
