St. Cloud State University Graduation Checklist
- Earn a minimum of 120 credits.
- Complete the general education requirement.1
- Complete 3 Diversity (MGM) courses.1 One must be a racial issues course.
- Complete a major2 or the bachelor of elective studies.3
- Complete at least 45 credits at the 300-400 level.
- Complete at least 30 credits at SCSU, normally the last 30.
- Meet the GPA requirements of your program.3
Be sure to apply for graduation 3 semesters before you plan to graduate.
1Transfer students may have completed some of these requirements at previous schools, or may be exempted from them. Talk to the advising center (CH 210) to find out exactly what you must do.
2B. A. students need a 45 credit major or a 51-credit major/minor combination or a major and a year of foreign language. Some majors require a minor.
3See the Undergraduate Bulletin or your major advisor for complete information. Students are responsible for meeting all graduation requirements; you need to make sure you stay on track.
