Academic Action Plan
The development of an Academic Action Plan marks the first step in St. Cloud State University’s comprehensive action planning process. The Academic Action Plan will be developed through the efforts of 12 work groups, involving nearly 100 people, focused on unique but interrelated strategic areas:
- Sciences Strategy
- Student Experience
- Faculty Research
- Faculty Development
- Institutional Outcomes
- Academic Program Mix & Development
- P-16 Strategy
- On-line, Distance, and Off-site Programming
- Community Engagement & Service Learning
- International Priorities
- Integrated Planning & Budgeting
- Staff Hiring & Development
Each work group is charged with developing a recommendation report that will be used to inform the final Academic Action Plan, as well as other action planning efforts, including facilities and fundraising. The final Academic Action Plan is scheduled to be completed by May 2008.
The Academic Action Planning web site is your source for up-to-date information on the planning process and a venue for contributing to and providing feedback on the efforts of the work groups. The links on the left provide information on each of the work groups, including their meeting schedule, draft documents, and a blog for you to provide comments on their work.
