Accounting News

The Department of Accounting and the Accounting Club are pleased to announce the publication of the 2008-2009 Online Resume Book for Accounting Majors. The purpose of the book is to allow employers to search for qualified candidates online.

Accounting majors are encouraged to submit their resumes online at Career Services, as a means to shorten the time required to pair qualified individuals with prospective employers. The resume book is in essence a database that displays the name, the GPA, personal information, skills, as well as career preferences and work placement. This is advantageous in narrowing the search among the number of qualified individuals.

Illustrated near the end of the publication is a step by step process for accessing the electronic resume book. We have also enclosed information regarding our current curriculum for undergraduates and events that may be of interest.
