Academic Resources: Academic Research

At St. Cloud State University, we understand that exploring the world through academic research is vital to enhancing your educational experience.

Whether you’re an undergraduate or a graduate student, at St. Cloud State University you’ll have the opportunity to engage in research. The Office of Sponsored Programs funds undergraduate and graduate academic research such as the Student Research Colloquium.

Unlike larger universities, St. Cloud State offers opportunities for hands-on research in just about every field. You may explore the correlation between skin cancer and tanning beds, or the interaction of the air and sea on New York’s Great South Bay. The possibilities are endless.

Wherever your curiousity leads you, there is a dedicated faculty member who will help you initiate research in that area. Beyond that, he or she will serve as an expert mentor, guiding you and challenging you along the way.

Whether your passion is the immune system – or the electoral process – opportunities to engage in academic research abound at St. Cloud State University.
