St. Cloud, recently ranked the 11th most family friendly city in the nation by Reader’s Digest, is located along the Mississippi River in Central Minnesota. St. Cloud Regional Airport is just four miles east of the downtown.
St. Cloud is:
- Located about an hour northwest of Minneapolis-St. Paul.
- Situated in a metropolitan area that includes the cities of Waite Park, Sauk Rapids, Sartell, Rockville and St. Augusta.
- Named for the Paris suburb of Saint-Cloud by founder John Wilson.

- Proud of its historic central business district, which has brick buildings built between the 1880s and 1930s.
