Atwood Yoga
This class meets you at your abilities offering expanded body awareness, flexibility, breathing, balance, posture and unity. You can challenge yourself as advanced poses will be taught as an option or come to relax with more beginning postures.

SCSU on the Move Health and Wellness Presents: Meditation
Relieve stress. Become self-aware. Cultivate resiliency and creativity. Practice grounding yourself in the midst of our hectic lives. Each week, we will meditate for twenty minutes using various meditation techniques, followed by an open discussion period (optional).

Instructor: Beth Berila, Ph.D., is a registered Yoga teacher and the Director and Associate Professor of the Women's Studies Program. Her work focuses on Gender and the Body, Popular Culture, and Feminist Pedagogy. She has practiced yoga and meditation for years and recently completed the 200-hour Teacher Training Program with Senior Anusara®Practitioners, Martin and Jordan Kirk.
Spring Forest Qigong
Qigong is a form of meditation exercises that help people increase self-awareness, build internal energy and develop a healthy body physically and spiritually. The techniques will help you to be relieved of physical pain, stress, depression and more. SFQ techniques are simple, effective and open the door to explore this wonderful and powerful healing energy.

Instructors: Jerry Wellik and Doug Randolph. Spring Forest Qigong (SFQ) is a simple and powerful form of Qigong founded by Master Chunyi Lin. Master Lin developed his program after studying and practicing Qigong and Tai Chi with some of the worlds most prominent and powerful masters. Jerry has been studying with Master Lin for six years, has completed all four levels of SFQ training and is certified to teach Level I exercises.
