Student-Faculty Collaborative Research within
the College of Science and Engineering (COSE) is supported
by the original research activities of faculty members and
students, student summer research experiences and internships,
collaboration with local manufactures and employers within
the community, tours of national research laboratories, field
trips within the local, regional and national United States,
required research courses for a specific major, the annual
Denise M. McGuire Student
Research Award and the annual St. Cloud State University Student Research
Colloquium.
If you are a student wanting to participate in research,
but are not familiar with the research interests of faculty
members or how to contact the appropriate faculty member,
or if you are just curious about what research is being conducted
within COSE and by what faculty member(s), please refer to
the COSE
Faculty Research Interest Directory (FRID). Previous hard
copy issues of the FRID are available through the COSE Applied
Research Center which is located in Headley Hall (HH) 227A.
