Pamela Wilger, Assistant Director of Global Food Safety

Pamela received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison where she worked at the Food Research Institute.
In 1989, Pamela joined Quest International, a food ingredients and flavor company.
Since 2001, she has been with Cargill’s Corporate Food Safety and Regulatory Affairs department. First, she was a Corporate Food Safety Senior Microbiologist managing the Corporate Food Microbiology Laboratory and Cargill's Good Laboratory Practices program. Then in 2008 she became Cargill's Global Manager of Food Safety Training. Currently she is the Assistant Director of Global Food Safety.
Pamela is a very active member of the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP), AOAC International, and represents the U.S. through ANSI on the ISO Technical Committee 34/Sub-Committee 9 Microbiology including Working Group 3 for Method Validation.
