St. Cloud State University

St. Cloud State University has been selected as a partner and to be an exhibitor at the USA Science & Engineering Festival this fall in Washington, D.C.  The festival has been called the “Woodstock of science” for the number of educational and research institutions that flock to participate. It draws thousands to the National Mall for the two-day expo at which each partner shows off an exhibit of its creation.

Dave Unze, from the St. Cloud Times wrote about the recently renovated Brown Hall, which opened Spring semester after more than a year of construction. For most of the past 10 years, the St. Cloud State University nursing program operated out of leased space five miles from campus. The Waite Park building wasn’t just remote. It wasn’t nearly big enough to meet the program’s growing demand.  St. Cloud Times story 

Quincy Nang, from Gabon, Africa, delivered the student address at the 2009 Fall commencement address on December 20th.  He graduated magna cum laude from St. Cloud State University with a degree in a bio-chemistry.  Watch full address
